Why protection?
Well protected.
More time on the water.
A boat that stays outside for long periods has to deal with rain, sun, wind, dirt, leaves and fouling. That means more cleaning, more maintenance and, over time, more wear.
A good boathouse helps limit that strain and makes it easier to keep your boat clean and protected.
Protection from above
A boathouse keeps rain, sun, leaves and dirt away from your boat.

A boat lift made to measure for your boat

We determine the right version based on the weight and dimensions of your boat and your mooring.

Frequently asked
questions
We are happy to help you choose the right solution.
Call +31 85 060 9360Which boathouse suits my mooring?
That depends on your boat and the layout of your mooring. A fully floating system is supported entirely by the water. A shore-to-floating system is supported by the shore and by floats. A shore-to-shore system has a quay or jetty on both sides. We will discuss with you which solution fits.
What is the difference between a quay boat lift and a floating boat lift?
A quay boat lift is installed on the quay and is available for 750, 1,000 or 1,200 kg, with an electric winch. A floating boat lift is a floating system for boats from 1,500 to 8,000 kg. The choice depends on your boat and mooring.
Can I combine a boathouse with a boat lift?
Yes. A boathouse with an integrated boat lift combines protection from above with taking your boat out of the water. The boathouse protects against weather and dirt; the lift limits long-term exposure to the water and helps reduce fouling.
What does the process from enquiry to installation look like?
First we discuss your boat, mooring and wishes. Then we measure the situation and determine the technical options. Next, we match the design and production to your location. Our team installs the boathouse and/or boat lift, after which the system is ready to use.
Does a boathouse also help against fouling?
A boathouse protects your boat from above against rain, sun, wind, leaves and dirt. To limit fouling below the waterline, you use a boat lift: it takes the boat out of the water. Both solutions can be combined.
What warranty do I get on my system?
DutchBoatHouse offers a 5-year warranty on boathouses and a 3-year warranty on boat lifts. With a combination, each part has its own warranty period.
